Born under a wandering star, Steve has spent most of his adult life playing in bands in the UK (and various locations around Europe).
Upon moving to the lucky country at the turn of the century, Steve decided that he needed to get back into the scene and promptly joined up with renowned Melbourne covers band Double Vision. After a few successful years playing pubs, clubs, corporates, weddings, etc, he took a break but is now back in the swing with ordinarymen.
Steve's all round singing ability and percussion talents (well, tambourine playing) add to the distinctive sound of ordinarymen.
The eclectic mix of songs performed by the band constantly stretches his vocal range, but with a voice often commented to sit somewhere in between Robbie Williams, Shannon Noll, Freddie Mercury and Barry Gibb ??, he handles the demands with aplomb (or so he tells us).
