Joe is the quiet one in the band and you'll see him up the back pushing the bass to new highs (or is that new lows?). Joe first played in pubs at 17 years old - he's a little older now - featuring in numerous bands from the early 80's to recently, supporting the likes of Paul Kelly, Peter Cupples and Phil Manning.
His musical abilities move from 70's rock, to 80's pop to Top 40 and even to Jazz and Country (although he prefers not to talk about that!).
His musical abilities don't extend to singing, as Joe can't sing to save himself. Joe's bass-playing is influenced by Queen's John Deacon, Zeppelin's John Paul Jones and the Chilli Peppers' Flea - but then again, which bass player hasn't been influenced by these guys? And like these guys, Joe can't sing to save himself.
