Not content to be known as just a mediocre guitar player, Andrew shows his true dedication to pursuing higher musical goals by having added saxophone and occasional keyboards to the range of instruments he plays (just) well enough to get by in an 80s cover and reception band.
A career in bands that didn’t go anywhere, commenced 25 years and included 80s synthesizer bands, as well as country music (played Werribee festival in 1983 in front of thousands) and covers bands. The original bands got to play at relatively inner suburban venues like the Prospect Hill, The Venue, the Anglers Club, The Tiger Lounge, and numerous other venues that haven’t existed for a long time, the country band played in the outer suburbs or beyond, and the covers band played anywhere.
After a break from music of some years, Andrew joins the other ordinarymen in providing an unexpectedly good musical result, and proof that experience does count for something, especially after a few beers.
